Equipment mount

Postby Lazi I on Fri Oct 31, 2008 5:52 pm

So, I'm in the market for an equipment mount...I need something that will hold my Xboard / notebook and monitor, but still give me my desk space back. I was considering this:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000GG ... pg__header

Anybody have a better suggestion? I'm planning on purchasing this in a few days (after they calculate my next CC bill , so I won't have to pay until December 31st)

If and when I get it, I'll post pics here. Any comments or feedback (or better options) are welcome.

That's pretty sweet looking. How far does that hang from the wall though?

Oh good gravy...the price jumped...again...

I'm going to hold off for a while and see if it'll go back down.

AND THE SHIPPING! Holy crap...$109 for shipping...DEFINITELY not worth it... ><

Just for my monitor...I'm thinking now that I have the nanoPAD along with the keyboard, I'll get a separate mount of sorts for those two and keep my monitor to itself.

I'll let you guys know what I find. :D

Still really haven't found anything as of late. Money has been in short supply, and with the holidays upon us, I'd like to keep some of my $$$ for gifts for the family.

Plus, with my old HDD dead, I needed some new stuff to go in the box, so for now, keyboard is on the desk, and the nanoPad comes out when necessary.

How much do you have to pay for a keyboard? And are you satisfied with your nanopad?

Depending on the size (25, 49, 61), the price can vary from $120 upwards of $400 or $500; having weighted keys will ALWAYS make a keyboard more expensive

And yes, I'm satisifed with the nanoPad. I need to get a new one from Korg (still haven't done that yet), but overall, I'm very satisfied with having a small, portable controller like the nanoPad.

I think that would be a good idea. Expose him to the music world at an early age. I played violin when i was in 4th grade (1999), played a music production game focused on edm when i was in 5th (2000). That's around the time i got interested in electronic music but didn't know the subgenres so i listened to house and whatever i could find till 2003 when one of my in-laws showed me DI.FM. 2years later in 2005, i started mixing :)
